The IPMI Business School is an independent, non-profit institution devoted to excellence in business management education and research. IPMI has the distinction of being the first business school in Indonesia to offer an MBA program with English as the language of learning and the use of Harvard Case Study learning method.

It is also the first Indonesian Business School to groom MBAs Since 1985 IPMI has graduated more than 1350 highly competent MBAs and MMs

IPMI has built a reputation for providing one of the best management educations in Indonesia. It is accredited by Indonesian National Board of Accreditation (BAN) as being - ”Unggul” or excellent.

Since September 2003, IPMI has become a member of the AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business), headquartered in Tampa, Florida, USA.

IPMI is also a founding member of the Association of Deans of Southeast Asian Graduate Schools of Management (ADSGM) and the South East Asian Association for Institutional Research (SEAAIR).

Initially IPMI was established to run the MM/MBA degree program in general management. Over the years, in order to meet public needs we have developed other degree programs, such as the MM/MBA-Investment Banking to cater to those that want to specialize in the area of capital market. The others are the Sarjana Ekonomi/BBA Degree Program, the Single-Subject Program, the Certified Management Accountant Preparatory Program and the Executive Development Program.
